After that, it was still only 10:30am (again, up so early), so we all went home and laid down for a bit, had lunch, and went to the pool for awhile. Perfect Saturday.
Today we discovered the best things in life are free. Including toys. (Try not to judge these next few photos----the lighting in his play room is not the best.)
We just tossed in a few of his favorite things and voila! Instant playpen/babysitter. Bye bye Harvey! Mommy and daddy are going to dinner. You just stay in your box and play!

And here are a few "festive" Fourth of July photos.
This is real life here. Harv fighting us, dying to get down and.....sit? Still can't walk. Oh how he would love to finally be able to walk away from us. Don't worry Harvey, we're everywhere! You won't be getting away from us for a long time.

He can stand by himself now. Until he realizes he's doing it. Then he hits the deck. Man, check out that stance. That's exactly how I stand. Belly out, booty out, hands up, and spread those feet. Natural model stance.
No Fourth of July festivities for us this year. We were going to be brave and go see the fireworks, but Harvey is cutting 4 molars. And, he usually goes to bed at 7:30. So the 9:30 firework show sounded like trouble. Maybe next year! Hope you all had a fun fourth!
