We took him to Fox's Donut Den in Green Hills to have his first donut. I took some sweet photos, but they were deleted. Yup, don't want to talk about it.
Here are some sweet photos from today's events.
Pretending to talk on the phone by placing a puzzle piece to his ear. Puzzle pieces have oh-so many uses for this kid.
I love this. When he's really thinking, he sticks his tongue out. I could just eat him up.
This morning after we woke him up, we got him dressed and brought him out to see his Pottery Barn chair we got him for his birthday. The most exciting part of the chair----the giant Elmo and birthday cake balloons attached. For real, Elmo is perhaps bigger than Harvey. And much lighter. He LOVES his chair. When we first sat him in it, he kept rubbing the arms of the chair and patting them with a huge smile on his face. He knew he was h-o-t stuff. Such sweet pictures that were also erased. Still, don't want to talk about it. But I did snag a few more photos at the end of the day, when he was all grouchy and sweaty from the ride home. And not wearing pants anymore. Long day I guess.
There were balloons on his highchair as well. He knows he's a stud. While eating dinner, he would look up at the balloons on his highchair, and then crane his neck to be able to see the balloons on his chair in the living room.
Harvey,
It's been an amazing year with you, to say the very least. You have grown and changed so much over the last 365 days. You are such a joy! So easy going, pleasant, sweet, very observant. You make friends with everyone you meet. So many people love you-----it's hard not to! I love your sweet smile, your crazy hair, your sweet easy going spirit, your wild screams, your determination, your sweet giggles, how you snuggle up when you're about to go to bed. You're an amazing little boy, and I am so very blessed to be your mom. I love you so much more than I could ever have imagined. I thank God all the time for allowing me to be your mommy. I love you so big, my little buddy. Please don't grow up too fast!
Love,
Mama
