Happy 4th of July........and stuff...........

We had a fun and busy weekend! I know, you all have been eagerly anticipating new pictures of Harvey.......so here's a classy one to start with:

Hey, can you get that big booger for me?

Friday afternoon, grandpa and grandma Clore (official grandparent names pending) came to visit for the weekend.  As soon as they got here, John and I ran out the door for a hot date. Yeah, that's right. We went to the YMCA to workout and go to the pool without taking the Harv. We are some wild and crazy kids! After that, we came home, made dinner, and we all went out to the pool together.  Needless to say, Harvey was a STUD in his swimsuit!

I'm pretty sure he did not appreciate me calling him "The Big Kahuna".

Are yous guys really going to put me in the pool?! It's cold, and I'm pretty sure kids pee in there! Nasty!

Geez mom, your face is real big! And, I can see straight up your nose from here.......

Saturday John and I went out on a more official date. Then we all had dinner and drove downtown to try to see the fireworks.  It was supposed to rain, but we were really hoping it would hold off until after the show.  Fortunately we found a spot where we could see them from the car. This way, Harvey wouldn't have to suffer premature hearing loss, and we didn't have to get drenched when it started pouring a few minutes in.  While we didn't have to get drenched, John chose to stand outside pretty much the whole time. He did grab an umbrella at one point, and it pretty quickly came apart in the gale force winds. I looked out the window and he was standing there holding an inside out umbrella, absolutely soaking wet. Such a patriotic guy.

They ended up cutting the show a little short because the weather was nasty. This is what Harvey thought of the whole thing:

The sonic boom of the fireworks show didn't wake him up, but the flash on my camera sure did.
Here's his sweet red, white and blue outfit (thanks Aunt Nancy and Uncle Gene!).

Quite fitting really.

Here are some more family pictures with the Harv.

We had such a fun weekend! Harvey loved spending some time with his grandparents! Thanks so much for coming to visit!

Such a happy little guy! (Sometimes.... :) ).
